A lot of people ask me if I'm no longer accepting lettering, to which I respond, "No, writing is one of my favorite past times besides art." But words are a responsibility. A quote, a word, a symbol that you choose to tattoo on your body needs to be worn with conviction. If you have a good reason for your lettering, I have a good reason to tattoo you. A lot of people choose to get small lettering because it can be "covered up" or it's a good "first tattoo", but as an avid reader and writer, I feel lettering is an ode to the beauty of communication and expression. For my most dearest, loveliest Kim: Amor fati ( lit. "love of fate"), a Latin phrase that may be translated as "love of fate" or "love of one's fate". It is used to describe an attitude in which one sees everything that happens in one's life, including suffering and loss, as good or, at the very least, necessary. I Love you Kimmy Boo, you are one of the most amazing, most beautiful, most kindest, most intelligent human beings in the world! ♥️ You've been on such a crazy ride, and I hope this tattoo brings you strength and (finally) a love that you deserve ♥️
