5th Annual Maine Tattoo Arts Festival

Welcome to Maine Tattoo Arts Festival 2027 , bringing three days of live tattooing, contests and entertainment to Thompson’s Point in Portland from January 29–31, 2027 .

Meet tattoo artists working across a wide range of styles, watch live tattooing throughout the weekend and connect directly with artists about new projects.

Vendor booths and the wider festival programme create a lively setting for collectors, first-time visitors and anyone interested in contemporary tattoo culture.

Daily tattoo contests celebrate work across multiple categories, including Tattoo of the Day awards for pieces completed entirely at the show.

Entertainment and special guest announcements will continue as the event approaches.

The festival takes place inside Brick South, a 25,000-square-foot former locomotive repair space that has become one of Thompson’s Point’s major indoor event venues.
