Hasselt Tattoo Convention 2022

The Hasselt Tattoo Convention in September 2022, is the first event organized by InkPact Events.

On the 10th & 11th of December 2022 we will be hosting over 175 artists from all over the world. We strive to entertain young and old. At the Hasselt Tattoo Convention, in addition to the many international tattoo artists and sales stands, there is also room for ‘artists’ in the fields of Bodypaint, Pinstripe, Airbrush, Painters, Steampunk, Graffiti and furthermore beauty area, workshops, music acts, plenty of lounge opportunities to ‘chill’ and a diverse range of catering. In short, a lot of offers for everyone.

Our jury members determine/judge by means of a system with ” tokens ” based on :

Design – placement – composition – color/contrast – quality

The artist with the most ” tokens ” is ultimately the winner of the category/contest

• Blackwork :

All styles black color (ornamental style, mandala, lace, curly tribal, or filigree)

• Black & Grey :

Tattoos with a maximum of 15% colors.

• Color :

Tattoo with or without outlines blended colors allowed.

• Realistic :

Realistic tattoo with or without outlines blended colors.

• Old School :

Western or traditional American tattoo style, featuring bold black outlines and a limited color palette. This limited color palette typically included yellow, red, green, and black. Purple Blue Brown.

• New school :

A tattoo style originating as early as the 1970s and influenced by some features of old-school tattooing in the United States. The style is often characterized by the use of heavy outlines, vivid colors, and exaggerated depictions of the subject. The new school also represents a transition towards openness in the sharing of techniques in tattooing.

• Oriental :

Asian traditional style, bold outlines, unlimited colors.

• Neo Traditional :

American Traditional values, blended with touches of New School, Art Nouveau, and or realism.

• Portrait :

Photorealism must be a facial expression of a human or animal.

• Ornamental :

Done in any ornamental style, for example, mandala, lace, curly tribal or filigree.

• Best of Day :

All winners from all categories for Saturday or Sunday.

• Best of Show :

Between winners of best of Day Saturday and Sunday.
