Personally, I prefer to tattoo large abstract designs that enhance the body's appearance. I like almost all kinds of black work; be they traditional designs, dotwork, sacred geometry, or any mix of the above. As long as it sits well and will stay looking good long after the wearer's death I am happy.

I also enjoy doing color work as well; I enjoy doing pretty much any style of tattooing-traditional, japanese, greywash, weird hybrid style stuff, silly one-off joke stuff-pretty much everything except photo portraits. Even then I might do one of your ugly wrinkly bulldog though. It's all about what feels right; and some tattoos are just too fun not to do.
